Ghosts of Tomorrow is a project that uses the form of the flag — a symbolic medium associated with both statehood and protest. Familiar and emotionally charged, the flag is stripped here of any sense of allegiance: it represents no ideology, but rather what has been lost. It is a story of disappearance — biological, environmental and perceptual. Not a call to action, but a gesture of attentiveness. A moment of pause. A quiet sign of resistance.
