The theme of this year’s edition is Infinite Cycle, and the headline act is Extraweg, whose title sequence for Severance became one of the most celebrated examples of contemporary motion design. Kinomural will bring this year’s summer festival season to a close. This event transforms the perspective of the city, showcases new media art on a grand scale, and sparks and experiments with the imagination.
Practical Information
- Projections will take place on 18–19 September, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, at the following locations: Trzebnicka 19–21, Jagiellończyka 40, św. Wincentego 39a–41a, Niemcewicza 27, Niemcewicza 30b, Ołbińska 16
- To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, Jagiellończyka Street (between Trzebnicka and Niemcewicza) and Niemcewicza Street (between Jagiellończyka and Ołbińska) will be partially closed to traffic on 18 and 19 September, from 7:00 PM to 10:15 PM.
- Visitors who are sensitive to flashing lights or rapidly changing colours are encouraged to consult the programme, where works containing such sequences are clearly indicated.
- Please note that some audiovisual works feature loud sound levels, which may be disturbing for people with sensory sensitivities as well as for animals.
- We recommend travelling to Kinomural by public transport (MPK Wrocław), bicycle or on foot. Parking near the projection sites will be very limited.
- Please respect the spaces in which the projections are presented. These courtyards and streets are the everyday living environment of Nadodrze residents. Help us keep them clean and treat them with care.

awards and prizes
Three equal prizes of PLN 5,000 each, funded as the Mayor of Wrocław Award, will be presented to selected artists from the MAIN SECTION. The Mayor of Wrocław Award is funded by the Municipality of Wrocław. The winners will be selected by a jury consisting of Extraweg, Anna Sańczuk, Kobas Laksa, and reinfected.me
Three additional awards of PLN 3,000 each will be granted to artists selected through the OPEN CALL competition. The winners will be chosen by a jury comprising Arnaud Laffond, Jeremy Couillard, and Robert Jarosz.
The Contemporary Lynx Magazine editorial team will also present a special award in the OPEN CALL section. The prize consists of an interview published in the magazine.
For the first time, a Children’s Jury will present a financial award of PLN 3,000 in the Dobranocka section.
