Zoon starts with listening. An audiovisual artist working at the point where sound turns into image, Zoon translates the emotions perceived in sound into motion and visual form, building visuals that respond directly to rhythm, texture and intensity. Nothing is decorative. Everything answers to the sound. That approach has taken Zoon from the screen to the stage: most recently creating visuals for Rezz at Coachella.
Immersion and Release takes its title from two states that can only exist through one another. One has no meaning without the other, and the work sits in the narrow space between them, exploring the subtle tension their coexistence creates. Neither one wins.
