Practical Information

Works submitted to the KINOMURAL OPEN CALL 2026 may either be newly created specifically for this open call or selected from the artist’s existing body of work.

The KINOMURAL OPEN CALL 2026 consists of two stages:

1. An open call aimed at selecting works to be presented as large-scale projections on the side walls of buildings in the iconic Nadodrze district of Wrocław.
2. A competition aimed at selecting and awarding the creators of three works with a gross cash prize of PLN 3,000 each.

Each artist may submit up to two works to the open call. All works selected through the open call and presented during Kinomural in September 2026 will automatically be entered into the competition, in which an international jury will present three financial awards.

Participation in the open call constitutes acceptance of the KINOMURAL OPEN CALL 2026 Terms and Conditions governing both the open call and the competition.

Awards

Three awards of PLN 3,000 gross each will be presented to artists selected through the OPEN CALL competition.

The editorial team of Contemporary Lynx Magazine will also present a special award in the OPEN CALL section. The prize consists of an interview published in the magazine.
