Tim Maxwell lives and works in NYC.
His work is influenced by Celtic illuminated manuscripts, medieval depictions of the Last Judgement, geometry, human ornamentation and punk and hardcore music. Maxwell creates stunning hand-drawn illusions using an ink pen with incredible precision. His work has been widely praised in top publications such as the New York Times, the New Yorker, and Art on Paper magazine.
