Sawako Kabuki is a Japanese artist and filmmaker who started her career at a well-known  Japanese adult video company. She draws inspiration from Japanese graphic designers of the  70s and the bold compositions of Ukiyo-e. A blend of tradition and modernity, Kabuki’s  animations are full of colours and contrasts, creating short stories that are both humorous and  dynamic. Her work is a metaphor for the human condition, reflecting our desires, insecurities, and  the complex collection of emotions and experiences that make us who we are.
