Jakub Bzdyra tries to see how much can be said with a single image. A graphic designer, illustrator and graphic arts student at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, he moves between visual design, illustration and animation. He’s drawn to simple forms, strong ideas and experiments in visual storytelling. Competitions, for him, are a chance to test new approaches and push beyond what he already knows.
At Kinomural he’s presenting Światło (Light), an animation that attempts something deceptively difficult: showing how we see light. Sound plays the leading role, not simply accompanying the image but carrying the entire narrative.
