Fisz

Fisz (Bartek Waglewski) has been writing, rapping, singing, and making music for over two decades. One of the most distinctive voices on the Polish alternative scene, he moves between hip-hop, rock, electronic music, and experimentation, with the word always at the heart of his work.
As a member of Fisz Emade Tworzywo, he has received eight Fryderyk Awards and the Paszport Polityki. Albums such as Mamut and Ballady i Protesty were named by music journalists among the most important Polish albums of 2014 and 2021, respectively. He has also co-founded Kim Nowak and Bassisters Orchestra, as well as the family project Waglewski Fisz Emade.
Born in Warsaw in 1978, he still lives with his family in Ursynów, his beloved Warsaw neighbourhood.
