Antonina Tosiek

Antonina Tosiek invites us into a world where poetry meets memory, archives, and voices recorded outside official history. Her writing moves between the private and the collective, between document and literature, between the individual voice and the grand narrative.
She is a poet, essayist, and literary scholar. She is the author of the poetry collections storytelling and żertwy (Biuro Literackie, 2021, 2024), as well as the historical essay Przepraszam za brzydkie pismo. Pamiętniki wiejskich kobiet (Wydawnictwo Czarne, 2025). She is the recipient of, among others, the Wisława Szymborska Award, the Adam Włodek Award, the Literary Award of the City of Warsaw, and the “Polityka” Historical Award. She has also received the Student Nobel in the Literature and Journalism category. She is a member of the academic editorial board of the quarterly Czas Kultury.
