Agnieszka Obszańska knows that sometimes a good story starts with a sound. A cultural and music journalist, sound artist and field-recording enthusiast, she is part of the team at Polskie Radio’s Programme III, where she hosts Terra Kultura, among other programmes.
She creates radio plays, podcasts, sound installations and sound design, often working with sounds she records herself in the field. Passionate about Latin America, she plays and promotes music from the region — from traditional genres to contemporary sounds. She also leads sound and podcast workshops, encouraging others to listen to the world a little differently.
